Dr. Dragan Damjanović talks about how history and its changes have influenced the architecture of the city in a book on 253 cards accompanied by numerous illustrations of Zagreb's most famous and valuable architectural solutions. Starting from the first mention of Zagreb in the 11th century to the present day, Damjanović analyzes through time and styles all those buildings that created the future city entity from two separate settlements, Gradec and Kaptol. He follows its design, reconstructions, renovations and modifications in order to fill in the squares as if on a table and create the whole of the city as we see it today.
